The Joint Venture of ICEM Asia Consulting Pte Ltd and GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd was appointed for this consulting services by World Bank on November 9, 2021. The objective of this Technical Assistance is to support selected municipalities to address the issue of poor planning, design, and quality of road infrastructure in Nepal’s urban areas due to insufficient quality and high vulnerability of urban transport infrastructure to climate-related disasters. The work will contribute towards safeguarding the quality and sustainability of infrastructure investments under Nepal Urban Governance Infrastructure Project and improved capacity to develop and implement design guidelines at the national level. The Joint Venture of ICEM Asia Consulting Pte Ltd and GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd was appointed for this consulting services by ADB on May 6, 2021. The main objective of this consulting assignment is to support the government by strengthening flood risk management planning of the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation and developing and a flood infrastructure asset management system. The duration of this consulting assignment is 24 months.

Technical Assistance to Implement Small Irrigation Program-Phase II

The contract for Small Irrigation Program (SIP)-Phase II was awarded to Joint Venture of GEOCE, TMS & Avian Consulting on June 30, 2020 by Swiss Development Cooperation to provide technical assistance for implementation of program. The program area is Province 1 of Nepal. The duration of program is from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2024. The program cost is CHF 17.519 million.

TA-9873 NEP: Preparing the Airport Capacity Enhancement Sector Development Program – Review of the Investment Component under the proposed Sector Development Program

The consulting service contract was awarded to ADP Ingenierie, France in association with GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd on May 12, 2020. The scope of services include review of design of investment components comprising Nepal Airline and Nepal Army hangars aprons and Parallel Taxiway of Tribhuvan International Airport and due diligence review of design of new terminal T2 (floor space 35,000 sqm) at Gautam Buddha International Airport under the Sector Development Program. It also includes design review of new International Terminal Building (about 9 Mpax) at Tribhuvan International Airport. The Client is Asian Development Bank and Executing Agency is Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Feasibility Study and EIA of Khokhajor Hydroelectric Project

The consulting assignment of this project was awarded to Energy Infratech Pvt Ltd, India-GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd Joint Venture in association with Technoquarry and Beam on March 22, 2020. The objective of the consulting services is to carry out feasibility study and environmental impact study of reservoir  type hydroelectric project with installed capacity of 110 MW in Ramecchap district of Province 3. The project duration is 30 months. The Client is Department of Electricity Development, Government of Nepal.

The consulting assignment of this project was awarded to Energy Infratech Pvt Ltd, India-GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd Joint Venture in association with Technoquarry and Beam on March 22, 2020. The objective of the consulting services is to carry out feasibility study and environmental impact study of reservoir  type hydroelectric project with installed capacity of 356 MW in Dolakha, Ramecchap districts of Province 3. The project duration is 30 months. The Client is Department of Electricity Development, Government of Nepal.

Feasibility Study and IEE of Kawadi Hydroelectric Project

The consulting assignment of this project was awarded to GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd in joint venture with Technoquarry and Beam in association with NEDC on December 5, 2019. The objective of the consulting services is to carry out feasibility study and initial environmental examination of 16 MW hydroelectric project in Humla district of Province 6. The project duration is 24 months. The Client is Department of Electricity Development, Government of Nepal.

Feasibility Study and EIA of Middle Inkhu Hydroelectric Project

The consulting assignment of this project was awarded to GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd in joint venture with Technoquarry and Beam in association with Nepal Environment Development Consultant on December 5, 2019. The objective of the project is to carry out feasibility study and environmental impact assessment of 20 MW hydropower project in Solokhumbu district of Province No 1. The project duration is 24 months. The Client is Department of Electricity Development, Government of Nepal.

Detailed Engineering Design and IEE Study of Jugada Budhi Ganga Hydropower Project

The consulting project was awarded to GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd in joint venture with Technoquarry and NEDC in association with Beam on July 23, 2019. The objective of this project is to carry out detailed engineering design and IEE study of 20.16 MW hydropower project in Bajura District of Province No 7. The project duration is 30 months, and it will commence from August, 2019. The Client is Department of Electricity Development, Government of Nepal.

Environmental & Social Management Service Provider, Tanahun Hydropower Project

This consultancy project was awarded to ELC Electroconsult S.p.A, Italy in association with GEOCE Consultants (P) Ltd on May 20, 2019. The project was commenced from July 1, 2019. The objective of this consultancy is to assist the client to implement environmental and social safeguard measures related to the project and its 34 km, 220 kV transmission line project and associated rural development components in the form of the Rural Electrification Program and the Community Development Program. Tanahun Hydropower Project is 140 MW reservoir project with a live storage volume of 192.8×106 cubic meters. The project duration is 5 years and funded by Asian Development Bank. The Client is Tanahun Hydropower Limited.
